Lynsey and Kris had their wedding ceremony and reception at the Lochside House Hotel in Cumnock. Lynsey was absolutely beautiful, it was a very emotional day for them both but they smiled through and they were a pleasure to photograph.
Helen and Tennant had their wedding ceremony and reception at the Lochgreen House Hotel just on the outskirts of Troon. The stunning, secluded mansion house is set on 30 acres of land so all we needed was a dry day and the weather stayed in our favour. Helen looked absolutely stunning and both her and Tennant did not stop talking or laughing the whole time we were there. They had a great day and we thank them for booking us we were very pleased to be part of their day.
Shona her bridesmaids and her absolutely adorable flower girl have been coming in our studio for sometime now so we felt like one of the family when we turned up for the day. Shona and Colin had their wedding ceremony and reception all at the Gailes Hotel. The Gailes staff always make sure everything runs smoothly and nothing is a problem. We really had fun taking Shona and Colins photographs and we stayed until the evening when there was a great sunset. The dance floor was never empty from the minute the music started.
Emma and Simon had their wedding ceremony and reception at the Piersland House Hotel in Troon, a beautiful location and beautiful grounds. The weather was typically Scottish every season in one day! We managed to get outside in between the light showers and everyone had a lot of fun. We got a bit more creative and took photographs inside as well due to the weather they are going to have a hard time choosing their album.
Victoria & Martin had a great day which started with their Wedding ceremony at St Meddons Church in Troon. The sun did not come out but at least it did stay dry all day, they went on to the Western House Hotel in Ayr and we managed to get photographs outside in the lovely gardens and at the racecourse. We stayed right through to the dance and as always at the Western the day went smoothly and everyone danced into the small hours.
We had met Carolyn and her mum at our make-over day in the studio in February this year, we were really looking forward to seeing them again so it was lovely to go to Carolyn’s parents house while they were all getting ready and we could not help but smile the whole day. Carolyn and Colin had their wedding ceremony at the Clark Memorial Church in Largs, we stopped off at Portencross for photographs and then went on to the wedding reception at the Seamill Hydro Hotel. Louise and David had their wedding ceremony in Glasgow then took a white knuckle ride in a Maserati to Portencross were they thankfully arrived safe and sound. They had asked for some photographs of them and their bridal party at Portencross, so we had a bit of fun despite it being a ‘bit’ windy. The next short part of the journey was a bit more leisurely when we all went on to the wedding reception at the Seamill Hydro Hotel.
Anna and Brian had the wedding ceremony and reception all at the absolutely beautiful Moorpark House Hotel. Unfortunately the weather was against us most of the day, although it did dry up for a short time so we dashed out while we could. Photographing Anna and Brian really was great fun, I am sure their friends would agree with me spending any time with them is a pleasure.
