Tom is a fully qualified professional photographer and holds an Associateship in Wedding Photography with both the Master Photographers Association (MPA) and the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP) this is a qualification held by only a handful of photographers in Scotland. He is a multi-award winning photographer who has achieved awards at both Scottish and UK levels including Scottish MPA Portrait Photographer of the Year and Fashion Photographer of the Year. He has also achieved awards at National level in Weddings, Portraits and Fashion Photography. In 2007 Tom and Angela won the coveted Scottish Wedding industry VOWS award voted for by their clients.

"As a teenager I would spend hours reading books and in Art Galleries looking at fabulous works of Art, I had always been fascinated by the way in which an Artist uses light and shade (chiaroscuro) to create the illusion of depth and space within their canvas.
Since beginning my photographic journey in 2002 I have striven to bring the same sort of painterly feel into my images. I spend much of my time looking for a chink of light that I can use within my images. On occasions when there is not or very little light I will try to create light that blends seamlessly with the scene I am photographing.
I feel in a very honoured and privileged position to photograph a couple’s wedding. The images I produces on a wedding day will fill an album which will form part of a family’s treasured memories."
