Ayrshire Fashion Photographer – Model Portfolio I have shared a few of Caitlin’s Photographs from her Model Portfolio Photo-shoot already but am adding this one which we recently won a Contemporary Portrait Award of Merit with the Scottish Region Master Photographer Association. I have said it before but am saying again I think she looks fabulous, this was a shoot in our Portrait Studio with some very contemporary lighting. We were really pleased to achieve an Award of Merit in Fashion in the recent Scottish Region Master Photographers Association Awards. This image is one of a series of images we took for a Make-up Artists Portfolio, it was taken at Rowallan Castle, we did do some outside but the Scottish weather being what it is, we then moved in and are glad we did and got this lovely image with cold blue light coming in from outside. What a wonderful evening we had at the Western House Hotel in Ayr. The Ayrshire Post, Kilmarnock Standard and Irvine Herald ran a wonderful promotion encouraging anyone over 16 to take part in the 1st Ayrshire Supermodel. Of the 116 that entered the 20 finalists and their guests, sponsors and of course the judging panel all turned up at the Western House which was beautifully decorated with gorgeous flower displays by Catkins of Ayr, they had also put Halloween lanterns at the entrance to the hotel, which really added to the atmosphere.
