Pamela & Aydin Piersland House Hotel Wedding

Pamela & Aydin’s Wedding at the Piersland House Hotel was a day full of Turkish Delight and Scottish Tablet, a great mixture for the wedding favours and they were available even as we were taking photographs of Pamela getting ready.  Their day ran smoothly and there was lots of laughter.  We did get outside for a little while even though it was really cold, but they did have a great day.    Wedding Photographer Piersland House Hotel Tom Gibson Photography

Sam & Darren’s Culzean Castle Wedding Photography

Sam & Darren’s Wedding at Culzean Castle sadly was cold and wet, we did manage to get outside for photographs with the boys first thing but during the ceremony the rain came in.  This is when you need to get a bit creative and use what very little light there is.  I am sure you will agree Sam looks absolutely stunning and as we always say the weather certainly will not and did not spoil their day. Gorgeous Family Portrait Photographs

Lochside House Hotel Wedding, Debbie & Craig

Debbie and Craig were a pleasure to photograph on their Wedding Day at Lochside House Hotel near Cummnock.  They did not complain once when Tom asked them to walk through the grass, they battled their way through a wall of midges, it was such a calm day they had come out to feast!  There was lots of beautiful Autumn colour around to take advantage of.    We love telling the guys they are going to be a silhouette – they always believe us too! Grant & Elaine’s Black Tie and Diamonds Wedding Anniversary Party, Moorpark House Hotel

30th November 2010

Grant and Elaine (Dream Day Photography) had an absolutely fantastic Anniversary Party at Moorpark House Hotel, Kilbirnie.  They asked Tom if he would come along early and do a photo-shoot for them, it was such fun – we were spoilt and were thinking do you think many brides and grooms will now give us 2 hours!  We did do a lot of talking and laughing during that time, then it was a quick change for us and what a treat, great food, great entertainment and fantastic company.   If anyone needs a magician Kevin Mcmahon is the guy you need he was brilliant.

Steve & Michael’s Civil Partnership at Blairquhan Castle

29th November 2010

Steve and Michael told us they first met in the snow and this weekend was the earliest heavy snow for over 20 years.  Blairquhan Castle looked fantastic with a beautiful dusting of snow and sunshine it could not have been better.  It really was a pleasure being part of their day.

West FM Wedding Competition @ Lochside House Hotel

Lisa and David are the very lucky couple who last year won their wedding through West FM in the Wedding Competition.  Their Wedding was held at the Lochside House Hotel who are the 2010 VOWS Award winners, congratulations to them well deserved.  It did rain for parts of the day, which delayed David’s arrival by helicopter and Lisa needed to make a dash for the door but Lynsey was there to make sure she did not get wet.  It cleared up in the afternoon and we managed to get most of their shots outside.  Lochside House Hotel Wedding Photographer Tom

Susan & Rod’s Ayrshire Wedding

Susan and Rod had a beautiful church service in Stevenston High Kirk and then on to the Menzies Hotel in Irvine for their reception.  Susan never stopped smiling all day from the minute she arrived, what a pleasure it was to be part of their very special day.
