The Gailes Hotel have been doing a lot of work on their Penthouse and everytime we go lately there is something new.  So I was really excited when I walked in and saw how great it is looking.  Kirsty and James had a fabulous day and great weather.  I love the shot of the guys in the car!  Enjoy the slideshow of their day.

The Gailes Hotel is a fabulous wedding venue definitely one of my favourites, we go and eat out there regularly because their welcome in genuine, nothing is a problem to them.  They have been doing a lot of work on the Penthouse and it really is looking fabulous. 

Jennifer and Stephen’s wedding in February was still very cold but Jennifer was determined to get a dramatic sky shot outside.  So hope you enjoy this slide-show, it is all done with lighting and Tom certainly knows what he is doing, I am very proud of him.

Just to let you know there has been a problem on this blog recently, it is now fixed so I thought it was about time I shared a few baby photographs again, so here is a new slide-show.

Tom is great at lighting and I am sure you will agree he is equally as great at getting fabulous images of your beautiful babies.  We have now been going 10 years this October and pride ourselves in being one of Ayrshire’s Premier Portrait Studios.  Tom has won over 100 national awards now since starting the business and insists that everything we do is to a very high standard.

As an Ayrshire Baby Photographer one of the things you hear a lot from adults is I hate getting my picture taken!  It is so wonderful when someone actually wants to be in the photographs with their beautiful babies.  I really love these images of Trisha and her very cute little girl.  I know I have told you before but I am going to tell you again – our studio only photographs very cute and beautiful babies and here is proof!

Lorna & Stephen’s Lochside House Hotel Wedding.

Lochside House Hotel have done a lot of fantastic work, new spa, new rooms and the new restaurant, I think it is looking fabulous and Lorna and Stephen had a wonderful Wedding Day and were really well looked after.  I hope you enjoy their slide-show and just so you know we always do what the bride wants so it was Lorna who still wanted to do her photographs outside even with the snow on the ground.  So although it looks like she is smiling all the time she is gritting her teeth  Only joking!

Colin and Christine came all the way from Australia to be with their families and have a really fabulous winter wedding at Alloway Parish Church and the Brig’O'Doon House Hotel.  It was our pleasure to be part of their day and here are just a few of the results.

From a photography point of view Winter weddings can be difficult light wise, there is not a lot of light to be had but it does not make them any less special.  Leah-ann and Alan had one of the best after dinner sweet counters I have every seen at their wedding at the Gailes Hotel.

Wilma and Brendan’s Wedding at Moorpark House in Kilbirnie did not even start until it was dark so luckily we take our own lighting just in case.

Karen & Neil chose the gorgeous Prestonfield House in Edinburgh for their wedding, it is very dark but absolutely stunning.  I love this fish eye shot at the front of the venue.

Susan and Iain got married earlier so there was still a bit of light to be had and I love this one at the front of the Western House Hotel in Ayr.

Here are a few really cute shots from a Photo-shoot Tom did a few weeks ago.  I really love the one of Spiderman after he ended up with his sisters beads on!   Beautiful shots like these are part of the reason Tom is the current Family Photographer of the Year.
