Colin & Suzanne’s Wedding at Lochside House Hotel

It is not always easy being a Wedding Photographer in Scotland.  On the morning of Suzanne and Colin’s wedding we went to Suzanne’s mums house and as I stood talking to Suzanne’s mum she said she was worried that everything would not run smoothly and I reassured her that even if they did not that it would not spoil their day and that they would talk about it afterwards!  The Wedding Ceremony was late because the organist was nearly half an hour late and there were road works on the way from the church to the Lochside House Hotel so everyone set off

Karen & Roy’s Wedding Gailes Hotel

What a great day Karen and Roy had for their wedding at the Gailes Hotel, the weather was perfect from a photography point of view – warm but not too sunny, but after dinner the sun came out and all their guests could sit outside and enjoy the sunset while the caliegh band set up.

Sarah & Mark’s Wedding Piersland House Hotel

Being a Wedding Photographer in Ayrshire you get to visit a lot of great venues and see the changes in them.  The Piersland House Hotel an Ayrshire Wedding Venue has recently had a refurbishment and new rooms built on the grounds, it looks really great.  Sarah and Mark had a wonderful day, the sun shone, the service was lovely and everyone had fun.  It really is a good job their Wedding Photographs are not scratch and sniff though, the bluebell shots look great and they were only there for 2 minutes thanks to the wild garlic! As a mum myself I love this shot of

Allison & Steven’s Wedding Gailes Hotel Ayrshire

If anyone is on face-book you will have seen that Ally and I were counting down the sleeps until her wedding, so I was really excited when the day finally came and it definitely was not a let down.  Ally looked absolutely stunning and as usual her dress looked even better than the it did in the magazine and fitted perfectly.  It is great to be a Wedding Photographer in Ayrshire we have so many great venues.  The Gailes Hotel like us are VOWS award winners so we knew things were going to run smoothly.  We worked alongside John from Creative

Ros and Iain’s wedding Seamill Hydro

Ros and Iain live down South but came back up to Scotland to have their wedding ceremony at one of my favourite churches, Symington Parish Church, it is absolutely beautiful.  Their wedding reception at Seamill Hydro was bound to run smoothly with such pleasant co-ordinators there, nothing is ever a problem. We met up with the girls as they were getting ready, lots of laughing and all very relaxed.  I am sorry I have not put a photograph of Ros’s famous white wellies which she had bought so we could go on the beach later, but I can assure you we took

Kerry and Stuart’s wedding Lochside House Hotel

Kerry and Stuart’s wedding service was at Henderson Parish Church in Kilmarnock.  There was far too much weather that morning but luckily the rain stopped by the time they got to Lochside House Hotel in Cumnock for their wedding reception.  We met up with the girls first thing as they were getting ready and then headed for the church to make sure the boys all looked their best.  There were lots of umbrellas at hand luckily.  The service was lovely and due to the weather we took the family groups in the church before heading to Lochside. We like to use

Alison & Alan’s wedding Dalgarven Mill, Ayrshire

Alison and Alan had been in the Studio earlier in the year for an engagement shoot and were completely at ease when we turned up on the day.  We brought along a print from the shoot and all the guests signed the mount board making it a fantastic keepsake from their wonderful wedding day.  Everything took place at Dalgarven Mill in Ayrshire, it was an absolute pleasure seeing their day unfold.  There was lots of laughter and great company, they had booked us right through until the dance so needless to say we ended up staying much longer than necessary.  Thanks for booking us,

Gillian & Fraser’s wedding in Ayrshire, Burnhouse Manor

Gillian and Fraser chose to host their whole wedding in Burnhouse Manor, Ayrshire.  They were lucky enough at the start of the day to be able to have the ceremony outside.  It did get cloudier and colder later in the afternoon but luckily we managed to get some stunning photographs outside before it got too cold.   We used the clouds to our advantage and Tom used his creative and technical skills and got this stunning shot of Gillian using lighting it was not quite as dark and cloudy as this -the camera does lie!  The fact that Gillian looked fantastic
