Gillian & Gareth’s Wedding Kilmaurs and Western House Hotel, 29th December 08

Gillian and Gareth actually had sun shine but don’t be fooled it was freezing.  The Wedding Ceremony took place in St Maurs- Glencairn Parish Church in Kilmaurs followed by the Wedding Reception at the Western House Hotel in Ayr.  We went to Gillian’s parents house while they were all getting ready it was great having Mamma Mia the sing along version playing whilst we were there.  Gillian was absolutely stunning and was happy to be outside and with the sun shine it is hard to tell how cold it really was.  We used the low winter sun at the start of the

Margaret & Ross’s wedding Lochgreen House Hotel, 22 November 2008

Ross and Margaret had their wedding ceremony in the beautiful Our Lady of the Assumption and St Meddon’s church in Troon.  Ross and the boys looked fantastic in their morning suits and the girls were fabulous in their fur wraps.  They definitely needed them, luckily it stayed dry but it really was fresh.  After the service they headed for the wedding reception which was being held at the glorious Lochgreen House Hotel.  It looked wonderful with the log fires burning and the champagne was flowing.  We did manage to get most of the photographs outside but worked very quickly to

Gill & Paul’s wedding, Portland Parish Church, Toon & The Gailes Hotel, 25th October 08

Whilst Gill and Paul had one of the stormiest days this year – what a pleasure it was to be involved in their special day.  Gill was relaxed from the very start and was enjoying every minute. Their ceremony took place at the beautiful Portland Parish Church in Troon, and was a lovely service. Sadly because the weather was so bad we had to do all the photographs in doors, but that did not spoil the fun everyone had.  Gill and Paul’s family and friends had come from all over with a large majority coming from Ireland.  The wedding reception was

Sam & Euan, Wedding Piersland House Hotel 27th July 08

We do seem to have been at a lot of weddings at the Piersland House Hotel so far this year – we do go to other venues, honestly.  If anyone was watching the Senior Open which was going on literally across the road from the Hotel you will have seen the terrific weather, it was hard to believe we were in Scotland!  Sam and Euan really were great fun and an absolute pleasure to photograph.  The wedding ceremony was in the hotel, the registrar, Janette was a relative so it made it even more personal for them.  Everyone was great fun, we

We met Lucy and the girls at the Piersland as they were getting ready.  They were having their hair and makeup done by Susan and Suzanne, Absolute Treatments who it is always a pleasure to see, Lucy looked absolutely stunning.  Their wedding ceremony was at St Meddons Church in Troon and then on for the wedding reception at the Piersland House Hotel.  Lucy and Neil live down south and with Scotland’s reputation for weather a friend had given her a ivory umbrella just in case.  We put the umberella to good use which you can see on our main website under Lucy and Neils wedding but
