We hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and wish you a very Happy and Prosperous New Year.  It has been great getting up late and not doing too much for a few days but we are ready to get back into action.  Here is a little snapshot of what we have been doing for our wonderful church over the last year.  www.bridge-church.com

Charlene and Arthur’s Seamill Hydro Hotel Wedding

Charlene and Arthur had a great day with their Wedding Reception at Seamill Hyrdo Hotel in West Kilbride.  We have been photographing their little boys since they were babies so it was great to see them go from their pyjamas into their Kilts.  The morning started off very stormy but luckily by the time we met up with Arthur it stayed dry for the rest of the day and we even managed to get down on the beach for 5 minutes.   We had great fun, hope you enjoy the slide-show. Colin & Suzanne’s Wedding at Lochside House Hotel

It is not always easy being a Wedding Photographer in Scotland.  On the morning of Suzanne and Colin’s wedding we went to Suzanne’s mums house and as I stood talking to Suzanne’s mum she said she was worried that everything would not run smoothly and I reassured her that even if they did not that it would not spoil their day and that they would talk about it afterwards!  The Wedding Ceremony was late because the organist was nearly half an hour late and there were road works on the way from the church to the Lochside House Hotel so everyone set off

What a great day Karen and Roy had for their wedding at the Gailes Hotel, the weather was perfect from a photography point of view – warm but not too sunny, but after dinner the sun came out and all their guests could sit outside and enjoy the sunset while the caliegh band set up.

Fiona & Ian’s Wedding, Stewarton and Lochside House Hotel

Not every wedding goes without hiccups and Ian had a huge one the day before when he broke his collarbone, he was determined not to wear a neck-support and did really well getting through the day without looking like he was in pain!  They had a beautiful service at John Knox church in Stewarton and then on to Lochside House Hotel which as always was beautifully set up and Lynsey was there to greet them and make sure their reception ran smoothly. Never work with children they say – these guys were great fun!

Ros and Iain’s wedding Seamill Hydro

Ros and Iain live down South but came back up to Scotland to have their wedding ceremony at one of my favourite churches, Symington Parish Church, it is absolutely beautiful.  Their wedding reception at Seamill Hydro was bound to run smoothly with such pleasant co-ordinators there, nothing is ever a problem. We met up with the girls as they were getting ready, lots of laughing and all very relaxed.  I am sorry I have not put a photograph of Ros’s famous white wellies which she had bought so we could go on the beach later, but I can assure you we took

Kerry and Stuart’s wedding Lochside House Hotel

Kerry and Stuart’s wedding service was at Henderson Parish Church in Kilmarnock.  There was far too much weather that morning but luckily the rain stopped by the time they got to Lochside House Hotel in Cumnock for their wedding reception.  We met up with the girls first thing as they were getting ready and then headed for the church to make sure the boys all looked their best.  There were lots of umbrellas at hand luckily.  The service was lovely and due to the weather we took the family groups in the church before heading to Lochside. We like to use
