Marlene & Alex’s wedding Western House Hotel, Ayr

Marlene booked us about two years ago to photograph their wedding and would pop into the studio from time to time, so we were really looking forward to doing a good job for them.  She had really put a lot of thought and had been very creative with her stationery, table and flowers, they, like her were absolutely beautiful. Alex who is absolutely terrified of flying braved it and helicoptered in with Duncan his new father in law who runs Skyway Helicopters.  His colour soon came back once he had his feet firmly on the ground and Duncan rushed off to get ready to proudly walk Marlene up the Aisle.

Debbie & Craig, Wedding The Gailes Hotel, Ayrshire

Debbie and Craig had their whole wedding ceremony and reception at the Gailes Hotel.  We had great fun with the boys and luckily it did stay dry for most of the day but the weather is still just a bit on the cold side.  Debbie, her sister and her two little nieces never stopped smiling all day they were a pleasure to work with.  We always say every wedding is different and your guests make your day special, Debbie and Craig were surrounded by some great friends and family and had a fantastic day.  Thanks for booking us.

Margaret & Ross’s wedding Lochgreen House Hotel, 22 November 2008

Ross and Margaret had their wedding ceremony in the beautiful Our Lady of the Assumption and St Meddon’s church in Troon.  Ross and the boys looked fantastic in their morning suits and the girls were fabulous in their fur wraps.  They definitely needed them, luckily it stayed dry but it really was fresh.  After the service they headed for the wedding reception which was being held at the glorious Lochgreen House Hotel.  It looked wonderful with the log fires burning and the champagne was flowing.  We did manage to get most of the photographs outside but worked very quickly to

Gillian and Peter had the whole wedding at the Gailes Hotel.  The wedding ceremony took place upstairs in the conservatory then everyone made their way down for the reception and dance.  Gillian had chosen absolutely stunning flowers, the Gailes were having a wedding fayre the next day and asked Gillian if they could use them for that as they were so lovely.  Unfortunately the weather was not great but that did not spoil the day at all and we did get outside for about 20 minutes which was more than enough to get some fun, wonderful photo’s of them.  Luckily we were

Lisa & Shane’s wedding, Kilwinning & the Gailes Hotel, 27 September 08

Lisa and Shane definitely had a day to remember, starting with the 9 bridesmaids and 2 flower-girls it was like a military operation getting everyone ready but needless to say Lisa kept Shane waiting as she arrived in a horse and carriage more than fashionably late.  The weather was not great but we did get dry spells and got outside when ever we could.  Lisa looked absolutely stunning and had a lovely rich red theme running through the wedding.  The ceremony was at the Kilwinning Abbey and then on to the reception at the Gailes Hotel.   Lisa’s mum surprised them both

Helen and Tennant had their wedding ceremony and reception at the Lochgreen House Hotel just on the outskirts of Troon.  The stunning, secluded mansion house is set on 30 acres of land so all we needed was a dry day and the weather stayed in our favour.  Helen looked absolutely stunning and both her and Tennant did not stop talking or laughing the whole time we were there.  They had a great day and we thank them for booking us we were very pleased to be part of their day.
