Fun, Weddings at the Gailes Hotel

I know I say this regularly and am repeating it again, nothing is ever a problem at the Gailes Hotel they really do look after you and because of that it is fun and laughter all the way.  We met the boys at one of the other SimpsInns Venues, the Waterside, and then back to the Gailes.  I hope you enjoy the slideshow where you will see it really is smiles and joy. Lorna and James, Lochside House Hotel Wedding

Lorna and James had a beautiful very personal Wedding Day at the Lochside House Hotel.  They were surrounded by family, friends and definitely lots of children.  Lorna’s brother performed the ceremony so you might be fooled into thinking it would not be a long service!  I thought it was particularly funny when he said “OK now you can kiss my sister”.  It was a great day and it really was a pleasure to be part of it, so thank you both for booking us.    Wedding Photographer Lochside House Hotel

Fiona & Ian’s Wedding, Stewarton and Lochside House Hotel

Not every wedding goes without hiccups and Ian had a huge one the day before when he broke his collarbone, he was determined not to wear a neck-support and did really well getting through the day without looking like he was in pain!  They had a beautiful service at John Knox church in Stewarton and then on to Lochside House Hotel which as always was beautifully set up and Lynsey was there to greet them and make sure their reception ran smoothly. Never work with children they say – these guys were great fun!

I would like to thank everyone that booked us at the Lochside House Hotel wedding fair last weekend, here is the slide-show of images all taken at Lochside we showed you on the day(you do need an up-to-date version of flash-player to watch this).  It is great being a Wedding Photographer at Lochside  House Hotel, it is always a pleasure to go there, they are so welcoming.  The venue itself is fantastic and the grounds and surroundings give such wonderful photo opportunities.

Allison & Steven’s Wedding Gailes Hotel Ayrshire

If anyone is on face-book you will have seen that Ally and I were counting down the sleeps until her wedding, so I was really excited when the day finally came and it definitely was not a let down.  Ally looked absolutely stunning and as usual her dress looked even better than the it did in the magazine and fitted perfectly.  It is great to be a Wedding Photographer in Ayrshire we have so many great venues.  The Gailes Hotel like us are VOWS award winners so we knew things were going to run smoothly.  We worked alongside John from Creative

Fiona & Stewart’s wedding Airth Castle

Being Wedding Photographers in Scotland we are so lucky to have such great venues with fantastic photo opportunities.  It is also helps with such a lovely couple, Fiona and Stewart had a fantastic day and even the sun shone for them (something you really cannot guarantee here in Scotland). So with such a lovely venue and beautiful grounds Tom definitely considered himself really lucky to be a Wedding Photographer at Airth Castle.  We had photographed Fiona’s brother Gerry’s wedding so it was great to see everyone again, it really does make you feel part of the wedding.     We stayed right through to the

Kenny & Catriona’s Eaglesham Wedding

Having your wedding in Scotland you certainly take a chance with the weather and Kenny and Catriona’s day started off really grey and miserable you would never have believed by the time they came out the church the sun would be splitting the sky.  We do say to couples that come to meet Tom that the weather will not spoil their day and we really believe that.  The temperature is definitely starting to drop though so Catriona had a lovely fur wrap just in case, they make a great couple and were a pleasure to photograph.  They walked from the church to

James & Laura’s Wedding at Airth Castle

We are really lucky in Scotland to have some fantastic Wedding Venues and Airth Castle this years VOWS (Voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier) Awards winner near Stirling is the one that Laura and James chose to host their wonderful wedding day. The girls started off in matching dressing gowns getting their hair and makeup done at Laura’s shop.  Everyone was really happy and relaxed the weather was great, you would almost think we were abroad.  Laura and the girls were stunning and we really had fun with them all, making it so easy to capture some beautiful, relaxed and natural wedding photographs.
