Brig’O’Doon House Hotel Weddings

We have some fabulous Wedding Venues in Ayrshire and the Brig ‘O’ Doon House Hotel really is a lovely one, we have been there a few times this year already and all really gorgeous weddings. I would like to share a couple of my favourite images of Rebecca and Jon from their wedding but I the first one I am going to share is another Award Winning Image of their little girl, I absolutely love this image that Tom captured it really makes me giggle.  This won an Award of Excellence in the Reportage Wedding category. Lauren & Tommy/Brig ‘O’ Doon Wedding/ Wedding Photographer Brig ‘O’Doon

Lauren & Tommy had a very romantic day and had their actual wedding ceremony on the Brig O Doon Bridge itself, this was the first one we have ever heard of and felt very lucky to be part of their day.  The day was gorgeous with fabulous sunshine so it could  not have been planned better.  They went from the Brig up to the Burns Monument to sign the official documents, we got some lovely photos in the sun before they headed into the Brig O Doon for their wedding banquet. Lochside House Hotel Wedding, Debbie & Craig

30th November 2010

Debbie and Craig were a pleasure to photograph on their Wedding Day at Lochside House Hotel near Cummnock.  They did not complain once when Tom asked them to walk through the grass, they battled their way through a wall of midges, it was such a calm day they had come out to feast!  There was lots of beautiful Autumn colour around to take advantage of.    We love telling the guys they are going to be a silhouette – they always believe us too!
