MPA Scotland Awards

We were over the moon this Sunday when Tom won the MPA Scotland Fashion Photographer of the year again, this is the second year in a row.  The MPA (Master Photographers Association) is the only Association for Fully Qualified, Full time Professional Photographers, so we really were up against the best in the Country.  We have been entering this very high standard competition for 5 years now and have accumulated 62 awards including Portrait Photographer of the Year, Classical Portrait Photographer of the Year, Cherubs Photographer of the Year, Pet Photographer of the year.  This year we won: Overall Fashion Photographer

Fiona & Michael’s Wedding Cameron House Hotel, 15 Jan 09

Fiona and Michael had a wonderful winter wedding on the banks of Loch Lomond at the gorgeous Cameron House, one of Scotland’s finest Luxury Hotels.  Cameron House has recently been refurbished and it may have been grey and wet outside but there was lots of scope for great photographs inside.  Fiona looked fabulous and wore a very elegant dress.  They broke with tradition and for once it was not the girls holding up the ceremony it was the boys!  The day was great fun and very relaxed and we would like to thank them for booking us.

Butterfly Events

Because of our involvement with Ayrshire Supermodel which was organised by Sheena Thomson who is the Senior Advertising Manager for the Ayrshire Post, Kilmarnock Standard and Irvine Herald we met a lovely lady called Lorna Dempsey.  Lorna lost a friend to cancer in 2007, her friend did a lot of work to raise money for Cancer Research and Lorna decided to keep up her good work.  Butterfly Events now raises a lot of money for Cancer Research by running all sort of events including the Butterfly Ball which is being held on the 21st of March this year, it is not too

Kirsten & Steven, Botanic Gardens & Oran Mor, 10 October 08

Kirsten and Steven got married in the sunshine in Cyprus, we did offer to go there but instead we ended up in tortential rain in Glasgow!  It was the worst rain I have seen for years the streets were flooded, Byres Road was a river.  Luckily Kirsten and Steven had got permission from the Glasgow Botanic Gardens to get photographs taken inside one of the fabulous glass houses.  They were having a family dinner in the absolutely stunning Oran Mor so we were able to go up to the Auditorium and had a bit of fun.  I would like to thank Oran
