Kim & Adam, Wedding Western House Hotel, 28th June 08

Kim and Adam had a wonderful wedding day, the ceremony was at the St Nicholas Church, Prestwick and then on to wedding reception at the Western House Hotel, Ayr.  We met up and had a giggle with the girls in the morning, Susan and Suzanne of Absolute treatments did their hair and makeup.  Susan had her wedding at the Western House and is the bride in the fun front image on our main website.   Only one little mishap when the boys forgot the order of service but the day was saved by their next door neighbour who delivered them before Kim arrived

Donna & Christopher, Wedding the Gailes Hotel, 27th June 08

Donna and Christopher wedding day took place at the Trinity Church, Bieth and then had their wedding reception at the Gailes Hotel, Gailes.  Donna who is beautiful anyway looked absolutely gorgeous and she photographs so well.   Huge bridal party today with 3 bridesmaids,  2 best men and 9 ushers! Unfortunately the weather was against us but we got some great photographs anyway.      Donna and Chris booked us through to the dance so we got some absolutely stunning wedding photographs in the evening while the band were setting up, thanks for booking us.  We hope you are having a wonderful honeymoon in

Karen & Ian, Wedding Piersland House Hotel, 22 June 08

Thanks to Garry and Alison who’s wedding we photographed last year and who it was a pleasure to see again. Ian, Alison’s brother booked us to photograph his marriage to Karen.  Unfortunately the sun did not have it’s hat on and did not come out to play but we were not going to let the weather spoil their day.  We did manage to get outside for the family groups but the rest of the time we used the Piersland House Hotel’s wonderful old features. It is always a pleasure to be asked to take photographs at more than one family members day it really does make us

Jennifer & Eric, Wedding Troon Old Parish Church & Piersland House Hotel, 20th June 08

Jennifer and Eric had a great day even though rain threatened at the start.  The wedding ceremony took place at Troon Old Parish Church and then on to the reception in a beautiful Marquee on the grounds of the Piersland House Hotel.  Jennifer’s bridesmaids had a gorgeous shade of pink which looked brilliant in the very large bridal party shots.  We hope they are have a great time in Mauritius. We love this shot of Jennifer and her dad having a laugh just before the ceremony.

Lise & Charles, Wedding Gallanach Estate, Oban, 14th June 08

What a venue, we were so lucky Lise and Charlie booked us to photograph them at their stunning home, Gallanach Estate.  As a photographer it is not everyday you get such a wonderful backdrop!  We arrived nice and early to get some photographs of Charlie with his dogs and the weather was glorious.  The service was at the Christ Church in Oban, the weather was in our favour and it rained whilst they were inside.  We all headed back to the estate and got some beautiful photographs.  The Ceilidh band that evening was one of the best I have heard,

Kathryn & Ross, Wedding Glasgow University and Airth Castle, 13 June 08

What a perfect day, Kathryn and Ross’s wedding took place at two fantastic venues Glasgow University and then on to their wedding reception at Airth Castle.  Kathryn arrived driven by her dad in a 1950 Daimler which he had lovingly restored.  The first minister, Alex Salmond dropped in on their wedding, but the big question is did they vote for him!  We had a great day with them they were a pleasure to photograph and we hope they are enjoying their honeymoon.

Elaine & Gavin’s Wedding Seamill Hydro, 8th June 08

Elaine and Gavin’s wedding really was full of laughter from start to finish.  I don’t know about their cheeks hurting with smiling but ours certainly were.  The whole wedding took place at Seamill Hydro and ran beautifully, they did have a drive in the sunshine to Portencross where we got some lovely photographs.  So thanks for booking us and letting us be part of such a fun day.

Jane & Scott’s Wedding, Troon Old Parish Church & Western House Hotel, 5th June 08

Jane and Scott had their wedding service at Troon Old Parish Church and then went on to their reception at the Western House Hotel, Ayr.  Jane and Jodi were bridesmaids just a few weeks ago at Pamela and Paul’s wedding and this time it was Pamela and Jodi’s turn to look after Jane.  After a very grey start we did get outside again once we got to the Western House Hotel.  We hope Jane and Scott have a great honeymoon in America and we look forward to seeing them when they get back.
