Angela and Kenny’s wedding Gailes Hotel Ayrshire

I have tried to pick a bit of a different selection of images for you from Angela and Kenny’s wedding at the Gailes Hotel in Ayrshire.  I love this black and white differential focus shot of Angela and her dad before the service, we do of course have one with them both in focus!  I know I treasure the photographs of me with my dad on my wedding day. We have photographed lots of weddings at the Gailes Hotel but every-time we go nice and early and Tom has a good look round for anything new, or to see what

Alison & Alan’s wedding Dalgarven Mill, Ayrshire

Alison and Alan had been in the Studio earlier in the year for an engagement shoot and were completely at ease when we turned up on the day.  We brought along a print from the shoot and all the guests signed the mount board making it a fantastic keepsake from their wonderful wedding day.  Everything took place at Dalgarven Mill in Ayrshire, it was an absolute pleasure seeing their day unfold.  There was lots of laughter and great company, they had booked us right through until the dance so needless to say we ended up staying much longer than necessary.  Thanks for booking us,

Lindsay-Ann and Hillman’s wedding Menzies Hotel, Ayrshire

Lindsay-Ann and Hillman wedding at the Menzies Hotel did not run to time, so luckily they were both quite relaxed about it all.  A few things were forgotten and the ceremony was late but that all added to the story of their day and I am sure they will not forget it.  The sun was out again and it really was fun working with them, thanks for booking us.

Sean & Jane’s wedding Culzean Castle

Sean and Jane had a fabulous day for their wedding at Culzean Castle.  Sean was able to have his grooms reception outside in the sunshine while the last of the visitors left the Castle.  The ceremony went smoothly and the string quartet played while they signed the register, then downstairs to the Armoury for cake cutting and speeches.  The sun was low but still lovely for the last fifteen minutes before they sat down for their wedding breakfast.  It really was a pleasure to be part of their wedding day.

Gemma and Fraser were married in the beautiful Alloway Church and then on to their wedding reception in Brig’O’Doon House Hotel in Alloway.  Brig’O’Doon is one of the Costley Hotelsand is such a fantastic wedding venue the hotel is stunning, the grounds are fantastic and the Brig itself is gorgeous.  The weather did play up as they walked under umbrellas from the church to the venue but the sun came out and we were able to get some great shots on and around the Brig. We stayed through to the dance so while Gemma and Fraser relaxed and enjoyed the speeches

Barbara & James, wedding Kilwinning Abbey and Gailes Hotel

James and the boys arrived in a black and white stretch VW Beetle – it was great.  Barbara looked absolutely stunning when she arrived with her dad in an open top car, both from Waterside Motors.  The weather stayed dry for them all day.  After the service we got some great shots at the clock tower at Kilwinning Abbey and then onto Eglinton Park.  By the time we arrive at the Gailes Hotel there was rain threatening but it never came to anything and we managed to get a big group shot of all the guests before they sat down

Diane & Aidan, James Bond Themed wedding Gailes Hotel

Diane and Aidan had a James Bond Themed wedding at the Gailes Hotel in Ayrshire.  It was so difficult to photograph because they made us laugh so much it was hard to hold the cameras still.  It really was wonderful to part of their day they made us so welcome and what fun we had not just with them but their family and friends too.  Aidan may have regretted having his brothers and son as part of the bridal party when they said “never mind James Bond more like Brooke Bond”!  We really do thank you both for having such

Emma & Joe, Wedding Strathclyde University and Western House Hotel, Ayr

Emma and Joe’s wedding ceremony took place in Strathclyde University Chapel, such an impressive building and fantastic for photographs no matter the weather.  By the time we arrived at the Western House Hotel in Ayr we had taken most of the photographs, which it turned out was a good job.  The car left us at the University Cloisters and drove off with Emma and Joe, we set off expecting to overtake them.  After a while we thought the car must have been faster than it looked but the car had set off down the road to leave the University and at
