Suzanne & Patrick’s Wedding at Airth Castle

What a great day to be a Scottish Wedding Photographer, sunshine, a fairytale castle and lots of laughter.  Suzanne and Patrick’s Wedding at Airth Castle near Stirling definitely was a day to remember, they could not have made it easier for us.  They were great fun to photograph and amongst their family and friends they have some really characters and some very talented people.  Look for the Patrick’s brothers in the band on the slide-show, they were brilliant and really helped make Suzanne and Patrick’s day so personal and different. Gillian & Fraser’s wedding in Ayrshire, Burnhouse Manor

Gillian and Fraser chose to host their whole wedding in Burnhouse Manor, Ayrshire.  They were lucky enough at the start of the day to be able to have the ceremony outside.  It did get cloudier and colder later in the afternoon but luckily we managed to get some stunning photographs outside before it got too cold.   We used the clouds to our advantage and Tom used his creative and technical skills and got this stunning shot of Gillian using lighting it was not quite as dark and cloudy as this -the camera does lie!  The fact that Gillian looked fantastic

Gillian and Iain’s wedding Balbirnie House Hotel

Gillian and Iain chose to have their wedding at Balbirnie House Hotel because of its great location.  Balbirnie is a stunning Grade A listed Georgian country manor house dating back to 1777.  Gillian and the girls were already in their beautiful four poster bedroom while the boys turned up with the roof down on the car and the Porclaimers “Lets get Married” playing.  Although the ground was wet the weather stayed dry and there were so many photo opportunities if only we had more time!  We stayed through to the dance and Gillian and Iain went outside after dinner for ten

Emma & Joe, Wedding Strathclyde University and Western House Hotel, Ayr

Emma and Joe’s wedding ceremony took place in Strathclyde University Chapel, such an impressive building and fantastic for photographs no matter the weather.  By the time we arrived at the Western House Hotel in Ayr we had taken most of the photographs, which it turned out was a good job.  The car left us at the University Cloisters and drove off with Emma and Joe, we set off expecting to overtake them.  After a while we thought the car must have been faster than it looked but the car had set off down the road to leave the University and at

Susan & John, wedding Kildonan Hotel, Isle of Arran, 2nd August 08

Wow what a day for a wedding on the Isle of Arran, location, weather and fun, it was all perfect for Susan & John.  The wedding ceremony was able to be held outside at the beautiful Kildonan Hotel on the Isle of Arran. The sun stayed out and there was a lovely warm breeze as everyone drank champagne on the lawn or down on the beach.   We really had fun with Susan, John and all the bridal party, we must give a special mention to Andrew who kept the boys on time and made sure they were dress properly!  Thanks for
