Sam & Darren’s Culzean Castle Wedding Photography

Sam & Darren’s Wedding at Culzean Castle sadly was cold and wet, we did manage to get outside for photographs with the boys first thing but during the ceremony the rain came in.  This is when you need to get a bit creative and use what very little light there is.  I am sure you will agree Sam looks absolutely stunning and as we always say the weather certainly will not and did not spoil their day. Michelle & David’s Wedding Ayr & Lochside House Hotel, New Cumnock

Michelle and David’s wedding was absolutely beautiful, we went to Michelle’s mums house first and got the first glimpse of Michelle’s Eleganza Sposa dress I am sure you will agree it really has the wow factor.  Michelle also has the wow factor so when we got to the church in Ayr for the Wedding Ceremony I did tell David what a lucky man he is!  After the Ceremony Michelle and David had asked to go the beach even though it was not that warm, so we got some fantastic wedding photographs on Greenan Shore, Alloway.  We used the wind to our advantage

Kenny & Catriona’s Eaglesham Wedding

Having your wedding in Scotland you certainly take a chance with the weather and Kenny and Catriona’s day started off really grey and miserable you would never have believed by the time they came out the church the sun would be splitting the sky.  We do say to couples that come to meet Tom that the weather will not spoil their day and we really believe that.  The temperature is definitely starting to drop though so Catriona had a lovely fur wrap just in case, they make a great couple and were a pleasure to photograph.  They walked from the church to

Natalie & Paul Scott, Wedding Western House Ayr

We met the girls at the hairdressers and then headed to Natalie’s mums house where we were made so welcome.  Her mum even tried to send us off to the Cathedral with chocolate, thank you.  They say it is good luck but it did not feel like it when the birds above St Margaret’s Cathedral in Ayr hit the boys.  Things do happen and Slater’s in Ayr had a new waistcoat there before the girls arrived, even though it was not needed in the end.  After the service everyone headed to the wedding reception at the Western House Hotel, near the Racecourse

Catherine & David, Wedding Brig O Doon Alloway

Catherine and David had their whole wedding at Brig O Doon House Hotel in Alloway.  There were scattered showers in the morning but by the time Catherine walked down the staircase into the beautiful main room in Brig O Doon the sun was shining and it stayed out for the rest of the day.  We went straight from the ceremony down to the gardens and managed to get a big group shot of all the guests at the wedding, timings were very tight but luckily now Jane is back running Brig O Doon she helped us keep things on time

Jamie & Brian, Wedding Brig O Doon House Hotel

Jamie and Brian’s day started with lots of weather – it was pouring down when we arrived at Jamie’s parents house but by the time we got to the church it was dry but still very windy.  After a lovely service at the Old Parish Church in Troon everyone headed for the reception for the wedding at Brig O Doon House Hotel in Alloway, one of the most popular venues in South Ayrshire.  The sun had managed to make an appearance just in time so all the guests could go out and enjoy the beautiful gardens and grounds of the Hotel.

Margaret & Ross’s wedding Lochgreen House Hotel, 22 November 2008

Ross and Margaret had their wedding ceremony in the beautiful Our Lady of the Assumption and St Meddon’s church in Troon.  Ross and the boys looked fantastic in their morning suits and the girls were fabulous in their fur wraps.  They definitely needed them, luckily it stayed dry but it really was fresh.  After the service they headed for the wedding reception which was being held at the glorious Lochgreen House Hotel.  It looked wonderful with the log fires burning and the champagne was flowing.  We did manage to get most of the photographs outside but worked very quickly to
