Gillian & Fraser’s wedding in Ayrshire, Burnhouse Manor

Gillian and Fraser chose to host their whole wedding in Burnhouse Manor, Ayrshire.  They were lucky enough at the start of the day to be able to have the ceremony outside.  It did get cloudier and colder later in the afternoon but luckily we managed to get some stunning photographs outside before it got too cold.   We used the clouds to our advantage and Tom used his creative and technical skills and got this stunning shot of Gillian using lighting it was not quite as dark and cloudy as this -the camera does lie!  The fact that Gillian looked fantastic

Kenny & Catriona’s Eaglesham Wedding

Having your wedding in Scotland you certainly take a chance with the weather and Kenny and Catriona’s day started off really grey and miserable you would never have believed by the time they came out the church the sun would be splitting the sky.  We do say to couples that come to meet Tom that the weather will not spoil their day and we really believe that.  The temperature is definitely starting to drop though so Catriona had a lovely fur wrap just in case, they make a great couple and were a pleasure to photograph.  They walked from the church to

Sean & Jane’s wedding Culzean Castle

Sean and Jane had a fabulous day for their wedding at Culzean Castle.  Sean was able to have his grooms reception outside in the sunshine while the last of the visitors left the Castle.  The ceremony went smoothly and the string quartet played while they signed the register, then downstairs to the Armoury for cake cutting and speeches.  The sun was low but still lovely for the last fifteen minutes before they sat down for their wedding breakfast.  It really was a pleasure to be part of their wedding day.

It is always a pleasure to go to a wedding at Seamill Hydro Hotel we are always made very welcome and it is such a lovely Hotel.  Unfortunately the weather made it impossible to go outside more than 10 minutes at the start of the day.  The girls and the boys were all getting ready at the Hotel and it looked like the boys were possibly going to be the ones making the wedding late!  James had no shoes and could not find the rings but that luckily was not for long and there was lots of laughter about it
